📋Overview
Coyote is a psychological card game where you can't see your own card. Each player can see everyone else's cards and tries to deduce the total value. As the declared numbers keep rising, shout "Coyote!" when you think the previous player is bluffing!
🎯Objective
The goal is to survive without losing all your life points. Judge whether other players' declarations are truthful, catch their lies, or bluff your way to survival.
🃏Card Types
The game includes the following cards:
Basic cards
Added directly to the total
Cards that reduce the total
Subtracted from the total
Doubles the total
Current total is doubled
No effect card
Does not affect the total
Max value card
Becomes the same value as the highest number in play
🎮Setup
- Give each player 3 life points
- Shuffle cards and create a draw pile
- Deal one card to each player (don't look at your own card)
- Determine the starting player
🔄Gameplay
Turns proceed clockwise.
On Your Turn
- Declare a number higher than the previous player
- Or shout "Coyote!" to challenge the previous player's declaration
Coyote Resolution
When "Coyote!" is called, everyone reveals their cards and calculates the total. If the previous declaration was equal to or less than the total, the player who called Coyote loses a life. If it exceeded the total, the declaring player loses a life.
🏆Winning
The player with remaining life points at the end wins. Alternatively, when only two players remain, the player with more life points wins.
Tip: Other players can see your card. Compare the declared numbers with the sum of visible cards to deduce your own card!
💡Example Play
[Each Player's Card] Player A: 5 Player B: 8 Player C: 10 *You cannot see your own card [Game Flow] Player A: "10" Player B: "15" Player C: "20" Player A: "Coyote!" → Cards revealed: 5 + 8 + 10 = 23 → 20 is less than 23, so Player A who called Coyote loses a life
